1.Refund Policy

1. 1. Due to the current policy of the payment system provider (“Payment System”) in use (Square by Block Inc.), we are not able to process a full refund. The Payment System charges a non-refundable percentage for each transaction.
   2. We are able to process a partial refund (97% of the original payment) within 48 hours from the purchase. This includes accidental charges, mistakes, or any other reasons why the customer might request a refund.
   3. Customers can request a partial refund only for their unused purchase. All used, or partially used purchases are not refundable.
   4. All refund requests must be made in writing via email to our customer service team at info@brooklyndanclessons.com
   5. Refunds will be processed within 2-7 business days from the receipt of the request.
   6. We reserve the right to refuse a refund if we suspect any misuse of our services or if the refund policy is being abused.
   7. If a refund is issued, the refunded amount will be credited back to the original payment method used for the purchase.
   8. For dance memberships, payment plans, or any package that includes a monthly payment, only the first payment can be partially refunded within the Refund Period.

2.Package and Gift Card Expiration Policy

1. Each Brooklyn Dance Lessons package has a usage period (“Usage Period”):

• Five 1-hour Lessons Package: 90 calendar days
• Ten 1-hour Lessons Package: 180 calendar days
• Twenty 1-hour Lessons Package: 360 calendar days
• Thirty 1-hour Lessons Package: 360 calendar days
• First Dance: Look, We Can Move (Five 1-hour Lessons) Package: 90 calendar days
• First Dance: Didn’t know U Can Dance (Ten 1-hour Lessons) Package: 180 calendar days
• First Dance: Wait… What? (Wow Emoji) (Twenty 1-hour Lessons): 360 calendar days
• First Dance: We Are The Real Deal (Thirty 1-hour Lessons): 360 calendar days
• Private Dance Experience: 180 calendar days
• Single or Trial Lessons: 180 calendar days
• Gift Card of any value: 180 calendars days
• Any kids birthday package: 180 calendar days

2. The Usage Period starts from the payment date of each purchase.

3. Customers must fully redeem their purchase within the related Usage Period.

4. Purchases partially or not entirely redeemed within the Usage Period shall be considered expired and are not refundable.

5. Usage Period might be extended for an additional fee.

3. Lessons Cancellation Policy

1. 48-hours policy – Cancellation or rescheduling of a private lesson must be made AT LEAST 48 hours prior to the scheduled lesson’s time.

2. Lessons canceled or rescheduled within 48 hours from the scheduled lesson’s time are not refundable.

3. Group classes, Group Dance Cycles, Wedding Dance Cycles, Group Intensive Classes, or Group Dance Experiences are events happening on a set day and time and therefore cannot be rescheduled nor refunded.
