Our lessons will help you prepare a beautiful dance while giving you a much needed break in the middle of the craziness of wedding planning. We are here to make this process easier for you and help you shine.
As your partner in this momentous journey, we begin with a consultation call designed to go over questions that will enable us to create a customized program tailored to your needs and experience.
To start, we teach couples individually and separately. Our belief is that couples learn faster and better when they don’t share the dance floor. This means you get to own the entire dance floor. Plus, we found that couples like that the experience is private, cozy and dedicated just to them. Think of this as your much needed me-time.
1
Learning how to dance is like learning a new language: it needs time and practice. Even if you are a quick learner, don’t underestimate the process: it takes more than one lesson.
2
Don’t wait until last month before the wedding to take dance lessons. It’s never too early to book a consultation with us. We will discuss your goals and build a proper plan together.
3
A wedding dance is usually up to two minutes long which requires a lot of steps and time to be prepared. Trust us – we’re not just pros but we also created a dance program for our big day.
4
We know you want to look natural but nobody’s born knowing. You need to work on landing the details, exuding confidence and showcasing grace on the dance floor. Bigger packages are designed to achieve that.
5
Freestyling at your wedding is not ideal, even if you are an experienced performer. Our goal is to teach you how to dance, and we recommend learning a routine to build muscle memory.

My husband and I reached out to Olga when we were getting ready for our first dance at our wedding. She is an amazing teacher who put as at ease right away (my husband was very skeptical at first) and made learning to dance effortless and fun. We liked her so much that we decided to keep dancing with her and are still taking weekly lessons 2 years later [...]
I signed up me and my now husband for private lessons with Olga for our first dance. It started with wanting to learn a few basic steps, and ended with a full choreographed dance. we loved our weekly "date nights" with Olga. She's a great teacher, sees your strong point and weak ones as well and gives suggestions how to improve them. I highly recommend! The studio is tastefully decorated [...]
We love Olga! We came into her studio with ZERO experience in dance. She gave us so much encouragement and support through the process, our first-dance fears disappeared on the big day. She was so much fun to work with, patient and kind. She also created a dance for us that was not only perfect for us, but our guests LOVED. Olga is a gem, and for anyone searching [...]
When planning our wedding, we knew we wanted to surprise our guests with a choreographed first dance. My husband and I are NOT dancers so we knew we would have to find a choreographer who also offered lessons. We found exactly what we were looking for (and much more) in Brooklyn Dance Lessons. We purchased a package of 20 dance lessons and our FABULOUS teacher/choreographer [...]
Olga taught us an amazing first wedding dance that she also choreographed for us. She combined Rumba and Foxtrot elements – with leans, dips and even a lift – into one unique dance that impressed (and definitely surprised) our friends and family at the reception. Neither of us had ever done any formal dancing before, but Olga got us to a proficient level in a very short time. Besides being [...]
Olga at Brooklyn Dance lessons did a wonderful job with my wife and I. My wife (far more of a dancer than I am) wanted to do an ambitious two dances -- just in case we didn't have enough room for a Foxtrot, we could fall back to a Rumba inside. An excellent teacher, Olga helped both of us (me especially) get, and look, much better. Even more impressive [...]
Olga is the best!! We had a blast learning to dance with Olga! My husband had never danced before in his life, and I was brand new to ballroom, but we knew we wanted a fun and different first dance (or at least I did). Olga choreographed a super fun cha cha routine for us and everyone was incredibly impressed! She started us with very basic steps, and then [...]
With this package, we can teach you a few basic steps (as well as a couple of spins) you can use to dance on your wedding day. Good as an introductory package or if you are looking to learn just a few moves to dance to your song instead of simply swaying together.
With this first dance package, we can build a nice short routine for your wedding song that will impress your friends and family. In fact, they may want to copy some of your cool moves on the dance floor afterward.
Ok, you want to show off, knock people's socks off and make everyone jealous. Especially that person who crashed your big day. Here we go, we will prepare together something no one expected from you! Perfect for an intermediate traditional dance choreography or a mix of two simple dance styles.
Normal people do wedding dances… you do killer performances! We can create an advanced choreography everyone will remember for a long time and make their jaws drop. Including the picky mother-in-law. This package will allow you to learn, have fun, and be seriously proud of yourself.
For everyone who doesn’t want to commit to a bigger package, we decided to offer a small cycle to help you out with your wedding dance. The cycle includes two group classes designed to learn a few basic skills (like a simple dip and spin), and one private session with the instructor to go over what you learned and add one or two moves. We won’t be able to customize your dance, but you will have the opportunity to learn some dance elements.
$295
Please note that we need a minimum of two couples signing up to activate the cycle. In case we don’t reach the minimum, we will convert your cycle into 2 private lessons during the same days. As a reminder, these dates cannot be rescheduled.
