Why does a dancer need shoes?

We haven’t yet come up with magic shoes that would teach us how to dance like Gene Kelly in “Singing in the Rain”, and so we continue to use more modest dance shoes. With certainty I can say about them: “Professional shoes help you dance better and more confidently”. And this is indeed the correct answer, but not entirely complete.

1. PROTECT THE HEALTH

The most important is your health. Dance shoes protect not only your feet, ankles, and knees from damage. The pelvis and the entire spine are influenced by the shoes you wear. Because of this, a variety of professional footwear has appeared — for ballet, jazz, ballroom dancing, or contemporary. Choose any!

2. MOOD

If your sneakers are in bright colors or heels in rhinestones, this creates a positive emotional background. There is more inspiration to dance.

3. SHOES ARE ALWAYS IN DEMAND

Shoes are in demand all year round. You don’t have to think about the rainy weather and worry about making a choice. The dance season is always open and you will be on-trend!

4. MENTAL HEALTH

A dancer’s mental health depends on dance shoes. Yes, it’s true! In such shoes, there are no worries that the movement will not work, because the heel falls off or the laces are too long. Wearing them a dancer feels completely protected, invulnerable, confident, and free in movement.

5. CONNECTION WITH THE FLOOR

Shoes that slide heavily on the floor interfere with dancing, but the opposite situation is not very good either. Probably, at least once you had a difficult task when you wanted to do some spins, but could not, since your shoes did not slip on the floor. Professional footwear usually has a leather sole and a quality heel for perfect traction. Spin in pleasure!

While I was writing, I felt big respect for my shoes! Good job they do! Probably, now I will put on a pair of expensive elegant ones 🙂
